BROWN ZIGZAG BAG

Materials

• Hand quilting Thread
• Machine quilting thread
• Polyester thick Yarn
• Sewing Machine

Instructions

1.       Hand quitting thread in the bobbin

2.       Machine quilting thread on top.

3.       Set the machine for zigzag stitch

4. Fold the yarn into a small circle and zigzag catching the yarn in each turn.

5.    Make the circle as big as you need.

6.    Ready to turn the circle 90 degrees.

7.   Continue zigzag until you reach desired length to create the handle.

8. Pull 5 inches of yarn and mark.

9.  Attach the 5 inches mark to the body of the bag at 4 inches mark.

10.   Continue zigzag around until you reach the length desired.

Materials

• -          50 g. Mercerized cotton or
• -          50 g. wool-free sock premier yarns
• -          Crochet needle 2.5 mm
• -          200 glass beads
• -          Hand Sewing needle
• -          Polyester thread
• -          Cotton liner fabric 5 x 11 in
• -          Zipper 5 in
• -          2 Plastic rings 1 in diameter
• -                     Yarn sewing needle

Instructions

String beads

•  Thread a needle with 7 inches polyester thread. Make an overhand knot.

•                 Pull the yarn trough the loop. At least 7 inches long.

• Thread the first bead, pull through beyond 8 inch from the knot. 

•                    Repeat until 200 beads are stringed.

Single crochet

1.       Bring yarn over hook from back to front

2.  
Pull yarn trough loops on hook

3.     One loop remains crating one single crochet stitch  

4. Repeat 1 and 2 to create a 10 inch long foundation  chain  

5. Keep foundation row a little looser than the gauge.

6. Close the chain pulling yarn through the first chain and the last chain.

7. four chain stitch.

8. Two double crochet (dc). Yarn over, insert hook in first stitch and draw thread through 2 loops, yarn over and draw thread through 2 loops.

9. Yarn over, skip one stitch, insert hook in second stitch and draw thread, double crochet (dc)

10. In next chain stitch double crochet. Chain one

11. Yarn over, skip one stitch, draw thread, double crochet (dc)

12. Repeat 9 to 11. Ch 1, two dc, ch 1, one dc. ch 1 two dc

13. Close the row.

14. *dc 5 using the post of the first dc, then working your way back up. DC 5 onto the other dc post. Sl st into the post of the following dc* work all your stitches this way, sl st into the top of the st of the beginning dc. Repeat from * to  *. Close the row.

15. *Dc 1 into the middle of the crocodile stitch, ch 1, dc 1 into the top of the next dc, ch 1*. Repeat from * to *. Close the row.

16. Repeat step 12 and add beads in the middle of the crocodile stitch.

17. Close row.

18. Single crochet all around.

19.  Repeat rounds 14 and 15 until you reach round 30. You should have 15 rounds of crocodile stitch rows. Big enough for the biggest smartphone. 

20. Make 5 row of single crochet.

21. Make liner.

22. Attach zipper

23. make  a pull zipper with tow buttons cover with fabric. Embroidery a flower with red floss.

24. cover plastic rings with single stitch.

25. Make beaded cord with single stitch and attach ring.

26. Attach rings.

DOLL AND CLOTHES

Doll and clothes

Materials

• -          Light weight cotton, muslin, broadcloth or linen
• -          Fabric marker
• -          Pencil
• -          Tracing paper
• -          Scissors
• -          Needle
• -          Thread
• -          Buttons
• -          Fastener
• -          Elastic
• -          Ribbon
• -          Polyester fill

Instructions

Pattern can be adjusted to any dimension

• -          Fold fabric
• -          Pin template
• -          Cut two (upper body and legs)

• -          Sew all around the shape leaving openings for stuffing
• -          Turn them out using a wooden stick or pencil
• -          Fill the body and legs with stuffing
• -          Attach the legs

• -          Trace the face using the template

-          Using fine thread sew around the shapes (option 1)

-          Using acrylic paint and permanent fabric markers trace the face (option 2)

-          Using an embroidery machine embroider the face before cutting the pattern (option 3)

      Hair

•       Use a paper card to support the hair and mark a 3 inches long line in the center.
•       Place 16 inches lengths of yarns distributed on the card until the center line is covered

•     Use making tape for painters to keep the yarn in place
•      Stitch on the middle line twice and tear off the paper card
•      Pin the hair to the head and backstitch.

      Clothes

• -          Using paper template cut the back

• -          Fold paper template and cut one front
• -          Using the same folded pattern cut another front and add  one inch to overlap

• -          Repeat the process for the liner.
•         Sew the pieces together
• 
  

• -          Match the collar of the jacket shell and the liner right sides together and sew

• -          Insert into the liner’s sleeves the jacket’s sleeves
• -          Sew around the two pieces leaving an opening at the mark to pull inside out

• -          Use a stick to help with the corners

• -          Press

• -          Hand sew the opening

• -          Hand sew the sleeves together

• -          Attach a fastener

• -          Hide the stitches with a little broche.

      Sweater

• -          Front and back
• -          Using Premier Yarns for socks cast 42 stitches. (or match the pattern for length) 

• -          Knit rib: Row 1: knit 1, purl 1, repeat to end
•       Work 5 inches long. Cast off. Make two

• -          Sleeves (option 1)
• -          Using Premier Yarns for socks cast 32 stitches.
• -          Knit rib: Row 1: knit 1, purl 1, repeat to end
•       Work 3 inches long. Cast off. Make two
• -          Because of the rib stitches it is reversible.
• -          Place the front and back together and align the sleeves
• -          Sew the edges together to attach the sleeves to the front and back
• -          Sleeves (option 2)
• -          Because of the rib stitches it is reversible.
• -          Place the front and back together and cast on 32 stitches ( 16 st. in front  and 16st in back)

• -          Fold the knitting

• -          Sew the edges together, sides and sleeves.

      Hat

• -          Use 4 double pointed needles
• -          Using Premier Yarns for socks cast 48 stitches.
• -          Knit rib: Row 1: knit 1, purl 1, repeat to end
• -          Work 5 inches long. Cast off
• -          Sew around the top edge and pull the yarn to gather the knitting (option 1)
• -          Knit rib 3 inches and decrease every three stitches for two rows and every other stich for two rows (option 2)
• -          End with 3 stitches and make a i-cord 2 inches long. Cast off stitches.

      Scarf

• -          Using Premier Yarns for socks cast 24 stitches.
• -          Row 1: knit 1, purl 1 to end
• -          Row 2:  purl 1, knit 1 to end
• -          Work 8 inches
• -          For fringes, cut several pieces of yarn of the same size ((3 inches)
• -          Attach fringes using a crochet hook
• -          Fold in half the pieces of yarn and pull it through the loop
• -          Pull the ends of the folded yarn through the loop
• -          Cut the ends to make it even

       Bracelet

      Materials

• -          Assorted glass beads
• -          Clear stretch cord 0.8 mm diameter

   

        Instructions

• -          Measure around the wrist and add 3 inches
• -          Insert the beads
• -          Tie up with a double knot
• -          Cut the tails
